Term Life Insurance Drug Tests Explained

What are term life insurance drug tests, and why would I be tested for term life insurance?

Term life insurance drug tests are tests given to applicants for life insurance to determine the risk of inuring the person;s life.

Drug tests for life insurance may test your blood, urine, or even hair follicles to determine if you use any prescription, legal, and/or illegal drugs, as well as, any tobacco use.

Some drugs you may be tested for may include marijuana, cocaine, heroine, opiates, amphetamines, methamphetamine, etc.

If you test positive for illegal drugs you will probably be declined for life insurance.
