Farrah Fawcett Dead at Age 62

The world is mourning the death of one of the iconic starts of the 1970's today.

Yesterday, June 25, 2009, Farrah Fawcett died of cancer at the age 62.

Farrah had been battling cancer since 2006.

Farrah was born in born in Corpus Christi Texas in 1947.

Her break-out role was on Charlie’s Angels which aired in 1976.

farrah starred in The Burning Bed in 1984 which earned her an Emmy nomination.

Farrah was married to lee Majors, and dated Ryan O’Neal for many years.

Farrah had a son, Redmond, with Ryan O'Neal.
